Meticuly, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chedtha Puncreobutr, CTO and co-Founder of Meticuly, was honored to participate as a key panelist and exhibitor, showcasing the immense potential of Thai medical Deep-Tech in expanding into the global market.
Medical Tech as Thailand’s New Growth Engine
The forum was honored by Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who delivered a special keynote address on "Thailand's Future Direction through Science, Technology, and Innovation". He emphasised the urgent need to foster a new generation of deep-tech startups to act as primary drivers for the future economy.
“Research must respond to the country's needs and be commercially viable to generate sustainable value and income," stated Prof. Dr. Yodchanan. "This is especially true in critical target industries such as robotics, automation, agricultural technology, medical technology, and artificial intelligence, which will serve as Thailand's New Growth Engines.”
Aligning with this vision, Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, Executive Director of the NIA, noted in her address, "Road to Innovation Nation," that moving toward a true innovation-driven economy is not merely measured by the volume of research papers or patents. Instead, success depends on an ecosystem's ability to transform deep tech into tangible economic and social impact. The NIA aims to serve as the core bridging mechanism connecting researchers, startups, industries, and investors to scale Thai innovations globally.
Meticuly at the Global Thailand Innovation Bridging Research and Global Markets
The forum hosted a specialised session titled “Global Thailand Innovation Showcase: Case Studies of Thai Innovation Entering the Global Market,” which brought together forward-thinking Thai entrepreneurs to share real-world strategies for scaling advanced technologies abroad.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Chetha Puncreobutr joined the panel alongside fellow innovation leaders to discuss the journey of translating complex digital engineering and medical research into a globally competitive business. The panel also featured insights from:
DVM Dr. Karsidete Teeranitayatarn (CEO, Morina Solutions Co., Ltd.)
Mr. Peerapong Jitwiwat (Managing Director, Neramit Foodtech Co., Ltd.)
Mr. Sathapon Patanakuha (CEO & Co-founder, Guardian AI Lab)
Meticuly stands as a prime example of successful research-to-market commercialisation, shifting the paradigm of traditional healthcare delivery through advanced medical engineering:
Patient-Specific Implant: Developing custom-made implants meticulously designed to match the unique anatomy of individual patients serving from neurosurgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery to orthopaedic surgery.
3D printing: Utilising cutting-edge additive manufacturing to fabricate precise titanium structures on-demand, optimising surgical workflows and eliminating traditional inventory compromises.
Elevating Healthcare via Point of Care Customisation and Patient Specific Implant
In addition to the panel insights, Meticuly's technological ecosystem was on display at the forum's exhibition, alongside leading organizations like Thai Union Group, Yara (Thailand), TSM Group, RISE, and MedPark Hospital.
The showcase demonstrated how Meticuly seamlessly integrates advanced manufacturing directly into the healthcare ecosystem, delivering a personalised Patient-Specific Implant directly to the point of care. By combining AI-driven generative design with premium titanium 3D printing, Meticuly’s framework satisfies the exact industrial and commercial linkages championed by the NIA.
Meticuly remains committed to working alongside the NIA and public sectors to strengthen the nation's innovation ecosystem, delivering precise, safe, and world-class medical advancements from Thailand to the world.
