Meticuly was honoured to participate in the technology showcase at the prestigious Beahrs Surgical Innovation Summit 2025, hosted by the Mayo Clinic. Representing Meticuly at this gathering of global medical leaders were Dr. Akkharawit Kanjana-opas, Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), and Kirk Cannon.

The summit, centred on the theme of "Ideation to Exit," explored the demanding journey of taking a healthcare concept from the spark of an idea to a validated solution that saves lives. For Meticuly, this event was a powerful validation of our mission to transform surgical care through precision and personalisation.

The Convergence of AI and Precision Planning

A central theme throughout the summit was the role of technology in enhancing—not replacing—the clinician. Speakers emphasised that the future of medicine relies on precision planning and personalised treatment to drive better outcomes.

Discussions highlighted recent breakthroughs, including rapid diagnosis during operations and the use of digital pathology to guide specific treatments. These advancements mirror Meticuly’s own approach to improving accuracy and efficiency in the operating theatre. By utilising AI-assisted design and 3D printing, we provide surgeons with the tools to plan complex procedures with unprecedented detail. This is the foundation of our patient specific implant technology, ensuring that every device is tailored to the patient's unique anatomy.

Innovation That Enhances the Clinician

The summit featured insightful dialogues on how data science and machine learning are reshaping healthcare, from regenerative pharmacy to the creation of "digital twins" for surgical simulation.

The consensus among the experts was clear: Innovation does not replace the clinician; it enhances them.

This philosophy is at the core of Meticuly’s technology. Our patient-specific solutions are designed to empower surgeons, reducing intraoperative guesswork and enabling them to heal more successfully. Whether through advanced Cranioplasty or Orthognathic Surgery, our goal is to provide the "bridge" between engineering precision and clinical expertise within the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Building an Ecosystem of Collaboration

Speakers at the event, including leaders from Mayo Clinic’s "Bold Forward Unbound" initiative, discussed the necessity of an ecosystem that connects patients, physicians, and innovators. They highlighted that successful healthcare transformation requires a bridge between clinical insight and entrepreneurial creativity.

Dr. Akkharawit and Kirk Cannon engaged with key stakeholders to discuss how Meticuly fits into this evolving landscape. As institutions like Mayo Clinic continue to expand their unique approach to patents and licensing, Meticuly remains committed to collaborative innovation that redefines the standard of care.

We left the Beahrs Summit inspired and energised, ready to continue our work in delivering personalised, precise, and life-changing medical solutions to patients worldwide.
