The BAOMS Annual Scientific Meeting remains a premier forum for clinical exchange and surgical development. This year, as the Meticuly team showcased our digital infrastructure at the ICC Belfast, we were continually reminded that while technology forms the framework of our solutions, the Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon remains our ultimate partner in care.

The Path from Planning to Structural Reconstruction for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

A core theme throughout our technical discussions at BAOMS centered around managing complex facial architecture. Whether addressing traumatic skeletal defects or planned structural modifications, mapping out a patient's unique framework requires thorough pre-operative preparation.


This is particularly evident in Orthognathic Surgery, where the realignment of the maxillofacial structure demands high procedural predictability. We had the privilege of demonstrating to the international surgical community how a data-grounded workflow offers a structured alternative to conventional generic meshes or manual intraoperative adaptations.

  • Anatomical Integration: Every implant is custom-contoured directly from individual pre-operative CT datasets, ensuring a perfect, form-fitting match to the patient’s distinct skeletal architecture.

  • Material Reliability: Utilising medical-grade titanium to ensure long-term structural integrity and stability.
