In the aftermath of the heartbreaking 2020 Korat Terminal 21 shooting, many lives were forever lost. One victim, facing the long road to recovery, received a spark of hope on August 24th, 2022. Meticuly delivered a personalized 3D-printing titanium skull implant (cranioplasty plate) to Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital, specifically to support the victim's surgery.
This was not just any implant. Through the power of 3D printing technology, Meticuly created a cranial mesh implant that perfectly mirrored the patient's facial structure. This meticulous design not only offered crucial functionality but also aimed to bring back the victim's natural appearance – a major step in regaining a sense of life after such a traumatic experience.
Beyond appearance, the 3D-printed titanium skull offered significant advantages for the surgical procedure: a more precise fit, potentially reducing surgery time and the risk of infection. This results in a faster healing period and a sooner return to a life free of the stigma of a tragedy.
