On 21–22 February 2026, Meticuly was honoured to participate in the Global Neurology and Neurosurgery Summit held at King’s College London’s Guy’s Campus, hosted by the St George’s Neurology & Neurosurgery Society.
Meticuly's CTO, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chedtha Puncreobutr, highlighted how the company uses AI and 3D printing to advance the speed and precision of neurosurgical care.
The Evolution of Post-Craniectomy Care
Traditional methods have often relied on generic meshes or hand-moulded cements. These "one-size-fits-all" approaches are becoming a thing of the past. Meticuly is redefining this process through the development of the Patient-Specific Implant (PSI), enabling surgeons to achieve anatomical precision that was previously unattainable.
Our Meticuly Patient-Specific Titanium Cranial Mesh Implant, represents the pinnacle of personalised reconstruction. Designed and manufactured through a seamless collaboration between neurosurgeons and our expert engineers, these implants are tailored to the unique contours of each individual's skull.
Key Features and Indications:
Anatomical Accuracy: Each implant is designed using high-resolution CT data to mirror the patient's original symmetry, ensuring a perfect fit.
Material Excellence: Utilising medical-grade titanium, our plates offer high biocompatibility, strength, and durability.
Versatile Application: Specifically intended for replacing bony voids in the cranial and craniofacial skeleton resulting from selective trauma, complex surgeries, or reconstructive needs.
Surgical Efficiency: By arriving pre-contoured and ready for fixation, our patient-specific implants significantly reduce intraoperative adjustments and overall time in the operating room.
The "7-Day" from Manufacturing to Delivering of Cranioplasty
In neurosurgery, time is of the essence. Dr. Chedtha highlighted Meticuly’s breakthrough ability to move from a patient's CT scan to a fully manufactured Patient-Specific Implant within just 7 days.
Workshop Spotlight: “From CT to Custom Cranium"
In the workshop, delegates explored the digital journey of custom reconstruction.
"We aren't just looking at the hardware; we are focusing on generative optimisation. Our goal is to translate complex data into tangible patient outcomes." — Dr. Chedtha Puncreobutr, CTO
The insights shared at King’s College London underscore Meticuly's commitment to global clinical education. By empowering surgeons with AI-driven design and rapid 3D printing, we are ensuring that personalised medicine is no longer a luxury, but a standard of care.
