Meticuly was proud to support the "Virtual Surgical Planning in Head and Neck Reconstruction Workshop 2025," held at the Siriraj Training and Education Center for Clinical Skills (SiTEC), Siriraj Hospital, on May 7-8, 2025. This specialised workshop, organised by Mahidol University, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, focused on the latest advancements in surgical planning for complex head and neck reconstruction procedures, particularly those relevant to oral and maxillofacial surgery.

The workshop featured a comprehensive program designed to equip participants with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills, including:

  • Cadaver-based hands-on training

  • 3D surgical planning with CAD/CAM & CT Scan integration

  • Cutting guide applications in mandibular and maxillary surgery

  • Expert-led lectures and case discussions


The curriculum covered a range of critical topics, such as:

  • Utilization of CAD/CAM for Surgical Procedures

  • Application of Cutting Guides for Mandibular Pathologies

  • Application of Cutting Guides in 2 Jaws

  • Application of Cutting Guides for Zygomatic/Maxillary Pathologies

  • Surgical Procedure for a Six-Piece Anterolateral Thigh Flap

Meticuly supported the workshop by having our Design Engineer, Mr. Natthaphat Viriya, invited to share his expertise as a speaker. Mr. Viriya delivered a presentation on the crucial topic of 3D surgical guides and their specific applications in oral and maxillofacial reconstruction. He provided valuable insights into their design, application, and benefits in enhancing the precision and efficiency of these complex procedures.
