An agreement between Meticuly and Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
Recently, Meticuly and the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University with support from the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University joined hands in a research collaboration of developing innovative titanium mandible reconstruction device.
Prof. Prasit Watanapa, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Prof. Supot Teachavorasinskun, D.Eng., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Chulalongkorn University and Mrs. Peeranoot Lohwongwatana, Managing Director of Meticuly co., ltd. attended the signing ceremony for the research collaboration of developing innovative titanium mandible reconstruction device.
With the integration of the knowledge, the device is designed with the expertise of medical and engineering fields. And fabricated with titanium 3D printing technology. This device is developed to use with patients that need mandible reconstructive surgery. Meticuly is aiming to commercialize the device after the development phase is finished with a will to make the devices reach Thai citizens thoroughly.
The signing ceremony of cooperation occurred on the 1st of May, 2019 at Siriraj hospital.
