Meticuly was honoured to return to its roots at the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, during CU Open House 2026, held on 28–29 March. As a pioneer in medical technology, the company welcomed students, members of the media, and technology enthusiasts to explore how academic research can be translated into world-class medical solutions.
Transforming Lives with Patient-Specific Implants
At the heart of the exhibition was Meticuly’s Patient-Specific Implant technology. By harnessing high-precision 3D printing, the company develops bespoke titanium implants designed to match each patient’s unique anatomy. This personalised approach enhances surgical accuracy, improves clinical outcomes, and supports a better quality of life—marking a clear shift away from the traditional “one-size-fits-all” model of care.
A Legacy of Innovation: Engineering for Society
Meticuly’s journey began within the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at Chulalongkorn University. Returning to the “Intania” community provided a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate how locally driven research can evolve into impactful, sustainable innovations. Through its participation in CU Open House 2026, the company hopes to inspire the next generation of engineers to apply their knowledge and creativity in ways that deliver tangible benefits to society.
Meticuly extends its sincere appreciation to the innovation team at the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, for the opportunity to showcase the potential of Thai-developed medical technology on such an engaging platform.
